Clemson signee Cam Blivens named Boys Athlete of the Year

Clemsonfootball commit Blivens, a standout at Lipscomb Academy, was named Boys Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive time at The Tennessean High School Sports Awards on Tuesday night in Nashville. The event, held June 9 at the Music City Center, honored some of the top high school athletes in Middle Tennessee.

Blivens posted on social media after the honor, saying he was grateful for his high school career and excited for his next chapter at Clemson.

That next chapter is what makes this award worth noting for Tiger fans. Clemson has been building momentum on the recruiting trail. Blivens arrives as a 2026 wide receiver signee with the kind of high school recognition that speaks to more than just one good season.

Being named Boys Athlete of the Year once is impressive. Doing it twice sparks forward a message. It points to consistency, reputation, and the kind of all-around impact that made him one of the top athletes in Middle Tennessee. But not only that, but it also points to an identity that Dabo aims for his players to have: a good reputation, elite play, and being good with teammates and the crowd.

For Clemson, Blivens gives the Tigers another young receiver to develop. He is listed by 247Sports at 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, giving him a frame to build on once he gets into a college strength program.

The rankings may not scream five-star headline, but the award matters. Blivens is arriving in Tigertown with momentum, and Clemson will get a chance to turn that high school production into something more at the next level.
