A full day of festivities will all come down to two minutes. It’s time for the third triple crown race of the season, the Belmont Stakes.

Horses and jockeys will head to Saratoga this weekend for the final triple crown race of the season. This race includes a much smaller field of only nine horses, a major step back from the 20 horses who competed at the season’s earlier races.

After skipping the Preakness Stakes, all eyes are on Golden Tempo, who had a magical underdog run to win the Kentucky Derby. This also made Cherie DeVaux the first woman to train a Kentucky Derby winner. Golden Tempo will not be challenged by the Preakness winner, Napoleon Solo.

Instead, the favorite entering this race is Renegade, who finished runner-up to Golden Tempo in the Kentucky Derby.
