Vote for Boys Soccer Player of the Year for 2026 high school season presented by the Vance Law Firm

It’s time to vote for the Montgomery Advertiser’s high school boys soccer Player of The Year for the 2026 season, presented by The Vance Law Firm.
Voting will open Sunday, June 7, and will be open until noon Thursday, June 11 . The winner will be announced on Friday, June 12. The nominees are based off their performances during the 2026 season, and the contributions they made to their team during the regular and postseason.
Montgomery Advertiser’s high school boys soccer Player of the Year presented by Vance Law Firm for the 2026 season
- Saint James’ Atticus Clements was the picture perfect captain for the Trojans in 2026, and for his efforts, was named to the all-state team. He scored 18 goals and added 8 assists for a competitive Saint James team that made the Final Four in the AHSAA state tournament.
- Pike Road’s Patricio Hernandez was the workhorse for Patriots in the 2026 season, leading Pike Road in goals scored, averaging around two goals per game.
- Montgomery Catholic’s JP Costa was the Knight’s team captain for the 2026 season, and blended the offensive and defensive game with ease. Costa scored ⅓ of Montgomery Catholic’s goals for the season.
- Montgomery Academy’s Grady Ming played more than 1,000 minutes for the Eagles during the 2026 season, and recored over 190 saves and pitching more than six shutouts in 2026.
- Brewbaker Tech’s Carlos Salazar was a big part of the Ram’s backend, accounting for more than 40 steals during the 2026 season.
