A new look inside the Jaguars’ Stadium of the Future

As the Jaguars prepare for Friday preseason home opener against Carolina, the team gave the media a sneak peek Thursday inside EverBank Stadium currently undergoing a $1.4 billion rebuild.
Among the big changes fans who attend Friday’s game will see is the main concourse has been extended from 25 feet to over 100 feet, giving fans way more room to walk around the stadium.
The upper decks are completely closed for this season and will be removed entirely next year when the team plays its home games in Orlando.
The lighting that used to be atop the stadium is now housed in that upper deck. There is temporary black seating in the lower bowl.
Gate 2 is now a massive entry gate, combining West Club seating and Gate 2 entry only for this season as construction continues on the Stadium of the Future – expected to be finished for the 2028 season.
Capacity for the stadium has been reduced to more than 42,000 seats.
Other changes for the upcoming season
- A $12.99 bottomless souvenir cup. Buy it once. Bring it to every home game, and get free refills.
- A “Fan First” menu at select concessions, where all items are under $4.99.
- Get to games early because construction activity is occupying parking spots and routes to the stadium have changed.
