UCLA head coach Bob Chesney Big Ten media days press conference

We are on Day 2 of Big Ten football media days 2026 in Chicago, and with it, we have heard from about two-thirds of the league’s coaches and teams, including Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. In addition to the OSU head man, we also heard from P.J. Fleck (Minnesota), Pat Fitzgerald (Michigan State), Barry Odom (Purdue), Bob Chesney (UCLA), and Dan Lanning (Oregon).
If you are like us, we are interested in what all the head coaches in the conference have to say, and if so, then we have all of the press conferences from each head coach on Tuesday for you. In this case, we’ve got UCLA head coach Bob Chesney and what he had to say about where the Bruin program is and where he is working to make it go.
Have a listen. Chesney inherits a tough situation but has all the tools to win at UCLA. He’ll try to duplicate the success he had at James Madison and follow the blueprint of what Indiana’s Curt Cignetti was able to do.
We’ll continue to bring you sound bites, news, and commentary from the next couple of days at Big Ten media days, so be sure to check back.
