Kai Trump’s appearance at ESPYs draws mixed reactions

The ESPYs draws the best athletes from around the world each year. Sports personalities from different professional leagues like the NBA, NFL, MLB, along with top golf and tennis players, among many others, attend it annually. College golfer Kai Trump was in attendance on Wednesday at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.

She wore a strapless, gold glitter gown. It features a form-fitting silhouette with a high slit on the side. The 19-year-old accessorized minimally with a gold necklace and a thin bracelet. She completed her look by keeping her blonde hair styled down in loose waves and was tanned.

Her red carpet moment was posted on X by the New York Post. Trump’s appearance received mixed fan reactions, with some liking her look, while others poked fun at it.

“She is beautiful and a great golfer!” one fan commented.

“She must go to the same tanning salon as grandpa,” a reaction read.

Kai Trump’s golf journey

Trump started playing golf at a young age and turned into a competitive player. She played for The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens and joined several tournaments. The New York native won the 2022 Women’s Club Championship and the 2024 Ladies Club Championship at Trump International Palm Beach.

She committed to the Miami Hurricanes in November and will be part of the program’s golf team. Her love for the game has grown her popularity further, amassing a huge following on YouTube and her social media accounts.
