Baseball’s biggest stars will arrive at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.

There is no shortage of stars who will take the field, from Philadelphia native Mike Trout (Angels) and Yordan Alvarez (Astros) for the American League to Juan Soto (Mets) and Freddie Freeman (Dodgers) for the National League.

Aroldis Chapman, Willson Contreras and Ceddanne Rafaela will represent the Red Sox in the Midsummer Classic, but starting pitcher Ranger Suarez will not be available to play. He was recently placed on the 15-day IL with a groin injury.

8:41 p.m.: The Yankees are bombing in the runs in the first inning. Now, it’s Ben Rice, who hits a single himself to bring home another run.

It’s 3-0 American League in the top of the first.

8:40 p.m.: The AL is on the board in the first inning.

It’s a two-run single by Bellinger, who lines a single right over second base to bring home both Alvarez and Langliers. 

The New York Yankee gets the night started and the AL leads 2-0.

8:38 p.m.: With two outs, the bases are loaded for the AL.

Up to the plate is Cody Bellinger.

8:34 p.m.: The AL has two runners on, with Sanchez walking Langliers.

With one out and two on, Junior Caminero comes up to the plate.

8:32 p.m.: The first baserunner of the game is Alvarez, who lines a single into the second-base gap.

8:30 p.m.: The first at-bat goes to the National League, with Sanchez striking out Trout on a changeup.

Next up is Yordan Alvarez.

8:26 p.m.: Cristopher Sanchez leads the National League onto the field and it’s time.

8:10 p.m.: First pitch is almost here.

8:00 p.m.: The Philadelphia crowd is selective over who gets cheers vs. boos.

The cheers included the Phillies players and Trout, while NL East rivals, like the Nationals’ James Wood and Braves’ Chris Sale, got boos.

Get ready for an incredible night in Philadelphia between the MLB’s best.

7:43 p.m.: The stars are out, including NBA MVP and champion Kevin Durant.

7:34 p.m.: The hometown Phillies have six All-Stars in the game:  Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Cristopher Sánchez, Brandon Marsh and Jesús Luzardo.

Schwarber won the All-Star Game MVP in 2025 and now will play in front of his home crowd. Philadelphia also has the NL’s starting pitcher in Sanchez.

7:28 p.m.: One of the greatest players of the generation, Mike Trout is ready for his 12th All-Star Game.

This one carries a bit more significance for him, being played near his hometown in Philadelphia.

7:19 p.m.: Players have made their entrances with their loved ones, including Paul Skenes and Livvy Dunne.

Skenes is the reigning NL Cy Young winner, making his third All-Star Game appearance.
