Celtic are interested in signing Utrecht winger Adrian Blake this summer, according to Sky Sports. Celtic manager Martin O’Neill wants top attackers at the Parkhead club for next term’s Scottish Premiership title defence, and the Hoops have identified Blake. The former Watford star is also on the radar of Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the opportunity to play in the Champions League could appeal to him. Celtic fans will remember Blake from their Europa League game against Utrecht in January.

Celtic appear to have been impressed with Blake’s performance, and a summer deal could now be on the cards.He has one year left on his contract and the Dutch club value him at around £2.5 million. The Hoops could be willing to do a deal for the price and their attack for next season could start taking shape. They have signed Colombian striker Camilo Duran and have offered Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho a deal.
Blake will be a quality addition to the Celtic attack, but pipping English clubs to the Englishman could prove tricky.
