The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is guard Chase Bisontis.
Chase Bisontis background, 2025 season
Bisontis is a rookie. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round this year with the 34th overall pick. He was a three-year starter at Texas A&M. As a freshman, he played right tackle and right guard. He was the Aggies’ starting left guard for his final two seasons in 2024-2025.
Chase Bisontis contract details, salary cap hit
Bisontis signed a four-year contract worth a fully guaranteed $13.3 million. He was paid a $6.1 million signing bonus and will make $885,000 in salary. His 2026 cap hit will count more than $2.4 million.
Roster outlook, questions he faces
Bisontis will make the roster. Many expect him to be the team’s starting right guard by the start of the season. So far, he has been behind Isaiah Adams all offseason in terms of the depth chart.
Can he beat Adams out, or will he find his way into the starting lineup later in the year? Will he have to sit as a rookie?
The battle at right guard will be one of the position battles to watch in camp.
