Who is The Vance Law Firm preseason high school volleyball Player of the Year for the 2026 season?

The results are in for the Montgomery Advertiser’s preseason volleyball Player of the Year, presented by The Vance Law Firm, for the 2026 season.
The poll ran from July 5-9, with readers given the option to vote once every hour.
Prattville Christian’s Maren Diefenderfer claimed the poll after leading the Panthers to an appearance in the AHSAA championship game in 2025. Diefenderfer was one of Prattville Christian’s dominant scorers, and returns to assume that roll for the Panthers.
With the new format of the AHSAA public and private school split for postseason play, the Panthers will be in a competitive field to claim an AHSAA title.
Diefenderfer won the poll with 94% of the total votes, beating out Lucy Logsdon who received 2% of the total votes.
