Switzerland and Colombia meet in the penultimate game of the Round of 16, with both sides looking to match their best-ever showing in the World Cup with a quarterfinals berth.
Murat Yakin’s side has enjoyed a strong start to life in North America, topping Group B before calmly dispatching of Algeria in the Round of 32. The A-Team have been anchored by attackers Johan Manzambi and Breel Embolo, who have three and two goals, respectively. Manzambi has been one of the tournament’s brightest prospects, dancing around defenders to create scoring chances in bunches for the Swiss. His status for Tuesday’s match is in doubt after exiting training early on Monday.
Colombia, meanwhile, is a veteran-laden bunch, with starters Daniel Munoz, Davinson Sanchez, Jhon Cordoba and James Rodriguez all on the wrong side of 30. Despite their advanced age, Los Cafeteros have been dominant, conceding just one goal in four matches. Munoz, Rodriguez and Bayern Munich standout Luis Diaz will look to produce the goods for Nestor Lorenzo’s attack, which has reveled in its chance creation but failed to tally the amount of goals one might expect thus far.

4:21 p.m.: Kobel’s first real intervention sees him turn away Gustavo Puerta’s curled effort, ushering it out of play after a good bit of play from Los Cafeteros. Not the most fiery of efforts from the Racing Santander ‘keeper. But Kobel provided a smart stop.
4:14 p.m.: Not much in the form of chances for either team thus far. Switzerland has had more of the ball thus far, although Colombia has looked slightly more threatening in attack.
