Monday was another disappointing development for the Braves. Despite another good start from Reynaldo Lopez, the Braves gave up the lead in the top of the 9th inning and then lost in extras. The game included the MLB debut of Braves prospect Owen Murphy, who was one strike away from allowing no runs in the top of the 10th before giving up the eventual game winning hit. Overall, it was a frustrating end to the series with the Mets, as Atlanta had plenty of opportunities to win the game and the series.
