Brockton student wins gold with Team USA in Austria

New Heights Charter School of Brockton incoming ninth-grader Jeremiah Minus competed in the United World Games in Austria this June and won the championship with his teammates, according to a community announcement.

Minus, a basketball player, was selected to play for Team USA by PhD Hoops USA, a competitive basketball organization. The organization organizes international travel tours, allowing young players to represent the United States in basketball tournaments in Europe and the Caribbean.
