LSU football finds out in a few days if it will add another five-star commitment to its 2027 class. Xavier Sabb announces his college decision on July 3 at 3:00 p.m. CT live on the Rivals YouTube channel.
The wide receiver has LSU in his top four alongside Tennessee, Oregon and UCLA. He made his most recent trip to Baton Rouge on May 29, and official visits to the other three schools followed in June.
Sabb hails from Glassboro, NJ, and plays at Glassboro High School. Rivals’ Industry Rankings lists him as New Jersey’s No. 2 prospect as well as the No. 5 wide receiver and No. 32 overall player in the 2027 class.

Adding Sabb to its class would likely put LSU back in the national top 10 in the 2027 cycle. The Tigers’ group ranks No. 11 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC. They have one five-star commitment with tight end Ahmad Hudson.
