The 2026 Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series resumes this Saturday, June 27th with Win-And-You’re-In races for the Breeders’ Cup, set for October 31st at Keeneland.
Saturday’s coverage, beginning at 4:30 PM ET on Peacock and NBC Sports NOW, will feature live races, headlined by the 2026 Stephen Foster (G1). The winner of the race will be invited to race in the Breeders’ Cup Classic in October
Headlining the race will be 2025 Kentucky Derby champion Sovereignty, who is returning to Churchill Downs for the first time since he won the Run for the Roses. Sovereignty is trained by Bill Mott, who is also bringing 2025 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes third-place finisher Baeza to the field. Also running is 2025 Pegasus World Cup (GI) and 2023 Breeders’ Cup Classic winner White Abarrio, who defeated Sovereignty in the Oaklawn Handicap this past April.
