Auburn football adds Prattville wideout Deshawn Hall to 2027 recruiting class

PRATTVILLE — Auburn football‘s recruiting run continued Tuesday, June 23, and it did so near its home turf, as Prattville High School wide receiver Deshawn Hall announced his commitment to the Tigers, choosing the nearby squad over Penn State.
With Hall added, Auburn‘s up to 23 commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle, and based on Hall’s 247Sports composite rating, he’s set to be the third-highest-rated pledge in Auburn’s class.
Last fall was Hall’s first season at Prattville, and he caught 40 passes for 660 yards, averaging 16.5 yards per catch, and five of those receptions were for touchdowns. A long-time basketball standout, Hall also holds offers in that sport from Cincinnati, Mississippi State, UCF, Jackson State and Alabama State.
As Hall joins the class, Auburn moves up one spot both nationally and in the SEC team rankings, leapfrogging Florida for both eighth- and fourth-best classes in the nation and SEC, respectively.
