Get to Know Your Orange: #50 OL, Kahlil Stewart

It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Kahlil Stewart
Position: Offensive line
Year: Redshirt freshman
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 330 lbs.
Hometown: Norristown, PA
High School/Previous College: St. Joseph’s Preparatory School
2025 stats: N/A (appeared in one game; redshirted for the rest of the year)
2026 projections: As you’ll see shortly, any future playing time for Stewart will definitely come in the interior. He notably got spring reps at center. Is he a lock to be a starter? I’d lean no, but there’s a decent chance Stewart could end up with a larger role if the O-line deals with any notable injuries at center or the guard spots.
How’d he get here?: Committed to the Orange in June 2024 over offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Duke, West Virginia, Kentucky, Boston College, Maryland, and James Madison.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars on 247Sports, ESPN and On3

Interesting nugget o’interest: Other notable football alumni from St. Joseph’s Prep include Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Chicago Bears running back D’Andre Swift, and, more recently, former Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord.
