2026 World Cup, Day 4: Germany vs. Curaçao; Netherlands vs. Japan; Côte d’Ivoire vs. Ecuador; Sweden vs. Tunisia

The 2026 World Cup continues to chug along, throwing another four matches at football fans. While today’s fixtures aren’t quite as far flung as yesterday’s, Sunday’s action spans two-thirds of North America. Starting the day in Texas, Germany and debutants Curaçao square off at NRG Stadium in Houston, while the Netherlands and Japan take the pitch at Jerry World outside of Dallas. Day four continues with Côte d’Ivoire and Ecuador in Philadelphia and wraps up with a Sweden vs. Tunisia night cap in Guadalupe.
After Neil El Aynaoui’s World Cup debut against Brazil, Roma players will once again take center stage today as Donyell Malen (NED) and Evan Ndicka (CIV) take their turns at bat this afternoon.
