2027 Mississippi lineman, Tennessee target announces commitment date

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star offensive tackle Caden Moss will announce his college commitment June 26 (8 p.m. EDT) between Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Oregon, according to Billy Tucker of ESPN.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect is from Jackson Academy in Jackson, Mississippi. Tennessee defensive lineman Dereon Albert and linebacker TJ White are also from Jackson Academy.
247Sports ranks Moss as the No. 8 offensive tackle in 2027 and No. 2 player in Mississippi.
Tennessee offered him a scholarship on May 13, 2024. The 2027 prospect has visited the Vols four times, most recently for an official visit on May 22.
Akron was the first school to offer Moss a scholarship on Sept. 14, 2023. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Missouri, Baylor, Auburn, Alabama, Oklahoma, Duke, Florida State, Texas, Florida, Vanderbilt, Colorado, Stanford and Miami.
Tennessee has 16 commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays, cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown, offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson and athlete Dayon Cooper.
