The Las Vegas Raiders have been connected to free-agent wide receivers all offseason and apparently will continue all the way to the start of the season unless they add one.
It’s debatable if the team needs to add a player at the position. They do have several young receivers. Plus, team officials have said they like their group heading into training camp.
Yet, it won’t stop the rumors.
The Raiders have been connected to wide receivers for months and there have been connected to most of the wide receivers who remain on the market.
So, for conversation sake, let’s look at the top remaining wide receivers on the market and who you’d like to see the Raiders sign. They are:
- Stefon Diggs
- Deebo Samuel
- Keenan Allen
- Tyreek Hill
Frankly, all of these players are past their prime and a couple come with significant baggage. So, there’s no perfect option, but that’s what you get with the available player pool this late in the offseason.
