Where did Duke's Max Greyserman finish at the 2026 U.S. Open?

Former Duke golfer Max Greyserman was the only former Blue Devil to make the cut at this year’s U.S. Open after Alex Smalley shot nine-over-par in his first two rounds, missing the cut by five shots.
Although Greyserman was +2 heading into the weekend, a six-over-par 76 on Saturday quickly put him out of contention. However, Greyserman battled back with an even-par 70 Sunday, earning him a tie for 43rd. That earned Greyserman $72,592 and 16 FedEx Cup points.
While Greyserman has yet to win on the PGA Tour, the 31-year-old former Blue Devil is playing the best golf of his career, having finished tied for 14th at the PGA Championship earlier this season. In late May, Greyserman tied for ninth place at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, the best finish of his tour career.
