Washington hires new girls basketball head coach

Washington has found its new girls basketball head coach.
Beth Peters was announced Tuesday, June 9 as the successor to Kim Barth, who stepped down in April after leading the Panthers to the Class 3A state championship.
Peters has served on Barth’s staff for the last several seasons as the JV coach.
Washington is coming off its state championship season, posting a 35-2 overall record during the 2025-26 campaign.
