The choice won’t be easy. The 16 candidates for the 2026 Daily News Fans Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year are among the state’s standout talents.
The list includes multiple All-Americans, Division 1 commits, league MVPs and rising stars. There are 13 schools represented. Division 1 quarterfinalists Franklin and Lincoln-Sudbury as well as Division 2 quarterfinalist Westborough each have multiple options.
The poll will remain open for a week until noon Monday, July 27. Vote below:
Our player of the year stories are meant as a way to highlight local high school athletes in the area. Making the list is an achievement in itself. Congratulations to all our athletes.
