Using new polling software, Enquirer/Cincinnati.com readers can vote for their favorite high school Athletes of the Week on their desktop, the Cincinnati.com mobile web or Cincinnati.com app as much as they’d like with a refreshed page until 4 p.m. on Friday.

Ohio big-school football team of the week
Anderson: Anderson’s passing attack put up over 500 yards in a 52-13 win over previously unbeaten Lebanon.
Badin: Badin remained unbeaten with a 46-13 victory against Hartley.
Colerain: The Cardinals held off a late rally from Fairfield to win in overtime, 34-28.
Elder: Elder pitched a shutout in its first conference game, blanking La Salle 35-0 in The Pit.
Loveland: The Tigers clawed back from a 21-point third-quarter deficit against Milford, winning 36-35.
Middletown: Middletown used two quick touchdowns to hold Oak Hills at bay, winning 20-14.
Moeller: Moeller put up nearly 500 yards of offense in a 42-14 victory against Christ Presbyterian (TN).
Princeton: Princeton left no doubt in a 56-7 win over Sycamore, scoring 35 points in just the second quarter.
Talawanda: The Brave remained undefeated with their second shutout of the year, beating Franklin 35-0.
St. Xavier: The Bombers went on the road and shut down Westerville North, securing three turnovers in a 31-0 win.
Winton Woods: Winton Woods held Turpin to just 35 rushing yards in a 45-7 win.
Ohio small-school football team of the week
CHCA: The Eagles ran in four scores to secure a 36-19 win over New Richmond.
Clermont Northeastern: Clermont Northeastern left Shroder no room for a comeback, winning 49-16 with 20 points in the fourth quarter.
Clinton-Massie: The Falcons secured their first win of a new coaching administration with a 40-18 win over Blanchester.
Gamble Montessori: The Gators secured their first 4-0 start in program history with a 34-20 win against Clark Montessori.
Goshen: Goshen remained undefeated with a 42-7 win against Bethel-Tate.
Madeira: Madeira took care of business early against Finneytown, scoring 48 points in the first half of a 55-6 win.
Mariemont: The Warriors’ defense held Taylor scoreless until the fourth quarter in a 17-7 win.
McNicholas: McNicholas blitzed Roger Bacon right out of the gates, turning a 35-point halftime lead into a 42-6 win.
North College Hill: The Trojans scored two interception-return touchdowns in a 43-0 win against Dayton Meadowdale.
Northwest: Northwest’s defense allowed only eight passing yards in a 26-0 win over Carroll.
St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: The Titans stormed back from a halftime deficit for a 21-20 win over Dunbar, preserving their first 4-0 start in at least 14 years.
Summit Country Day: The Silver Knights scored on offense, defense, and special teams in a 47-6 win over Norwood.
Wilmington: Wilmington rode a 21-0 halftime advantage to a 34-14 win over Ross.
Woodward: Woodward snapped a 31-game losing streak with an 8-0 win over Thurgood Marshall.
Wyoming: Wyoming stayed undefeated in arguably the game of the year, besting Indian Hill in a 48-47 three-overtime thriller.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana football team of the week
Beechwood: Beechwood has outscored its first three opponents by a combined 124-3 margin following a 41-0 shutout against Simon Kenton.
Bishop Brossart: Bishop Brossart had no trouble with Bracken County in a 27-7 win.
Conner: The Cougars outraced the Thoroughbreds in a 35-14 win over Newport Central Catholic.
Cooper: Cooper picked up its third win in a row with a 21-14 victory against Campbell County.
Covington Catholic: Covington Catholic blew out rival Dixie Heights for the second year in a row, winning 56-7.
Dayton: The Greendevils are off to their first 4-0 start since 2020 thanks to a 48-26 win over Ludlow.
Highlands: Highlands toppled 4A No. 1 Boyle County in dominant fashion, winning 41-21.
Holy Cross: Holy Cross stayed unbeaten as it cruised to a 42-12 victory against Holmes.
Lawrenceburg: The Tigers leapt out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter against Greensburg, eventually winning 49-3.
Lloyd Memorial: The Juggernauts are 4-0 for the second straight year following a 32-14 win over Aiken.
Scott: Scott secured its first win of the season with style in a 40-6 win against Grant County.
St. Henry: St. Henry blasted Bellevue, 49-14, to secure its second win of the year and match last year’s win total.
Boys fall team of the week
Badin soccer: The Rams topped East Central 3-0 and Landmark Christian 9-0 t extend their winning streak to seven matches.
Beechwood soccer: The Tigers beat Holy Cross 6-1 and Walton-Verona 4-0 to improve to 7-3.
Covington Catholic golf: The Colonels shot a 307 at the Kentucky Shootout on Sept. 12, winning by a stroke.
Highlands soccer: The Bluebirds haven’t allowed a goal in six-straight matches and seven of their eight, including the 2-0 win over Simon Kenton and 1-0 over NewCath.
Little Miami soccer: The Panthers beat Lebanon 1-0, improving to 3-0 in ECC play.
Norwood soccer: They beat DePaul Cristo Rey 2-1 and Miami Valley Christian 5-1 to improve to 4-0-2.
Girls fall team of the week
Bishop Brossart volleyball: The undefeated team beat Campbell County, Bracken County, Paris and Bracken County again.
Boone County volleyball: They’ve won four of five after beating Scott 3-0 and Villa Madonna 3-2.
Cincinnati Country Day tennis: The Nighthawks picked up four wins, beating Norwood twice, Mercy McAuley and Roger Bacon.
Harrison volleyball: Harrison is 9-0 after sweeping Talawanda, Mercy McAuley and Anderson.
Madeira golf: Madeira had the top two individuals and won the CHL Postseason tournament, shooting a combined 329 to win by 34 shots.
Seton volleyball: The Saints swept Mount Notre Dame and Ursuline Academy t improve t 10-0 and extending their winning streak to over 50 matches.
Walnut Hills golf: The Eagles won the ECC Tournament, shooting a 312 to take first by 18 shots.
Ohio boys cross-country runner of the week
Mason Barnes, Harrison: He took 12th place at Taylor with a time of 20:10.
Quinn Harty, Springboro: He helped the Panthers win the team title at Mason by taking sixth place in 16:55.8.
Zach Klasmeier, Kings: He led the Knights to a fourth-place team finish at Little Miami by taking eighth place in 16:56.
Tyler Martin, Indian Hill: He took second place in the DII race at Mason in 17:10.5, the second-fastest time of his career.
Samual McAfee, Lakota West: The freshman crossed the line at Little Miami in seventh place with a time of 16:55.2.
Thomas Moran, Mason: The sophomore won his second race this season, out-leaning the second-place runner to break the tape at the Comets’ home meet with a time of 16:24.7.
Luca Smith, Wyoming: The sophomore helped the Cowboys to a dominant team title at Taylor with a fourth-place finish in 18:36.1.
Ian Trombley, Loveland: The senior took third place at Little Miami with a time of 16:31.7.

Daniel Broering, East Central: He took 56th place at Brown County, with a time of 19:08.2.
Grant Holbrook, Campbell County: He nabbed a top-10 finish for the second straight week, taking ninth place at North Oldham in 16:38.2
Gavin Huxel, Conner: He helped the Cougars win the team title at Brookville with a 12th place finish in a new personal best of 17:41.5.
Leonardo Martinez, Scott: He took seventh place at Taylor with a time of 19:39.8.
Colin Saalfeld, Holy Cross: He ran under 20 minutes for the first time, crossing the line at Boyd County with a new personal best of 19:48.75.
Logan Vaniglia, St. Henry: He was the top local runner to cross the line at North Oldham, finishing in 16:30.
Ben Wulfeck, Covington Catholic: He continued a consistent season, crossing the line at Mason in 18:18:19.7.
Ohio girls cross-country runner of the week
Rachel Brower, Sycamore: The senior led the Aviators to the team title at Little Miami, finishing in fourth place at Little Miami with a time of 20:20.1.
Alyssa Browne, Lakota East: The sophomore took seventh place at Little Miami with a time of 20:23.8.
Aleah Coster, Oak Hills: She earned her second win of the season, crossing the line at Mason in 18:37.7, almost 40 seconds ahead of second place.
Campbell Coyne, Seven Hills: She took third-place in the DI race at Mason with a time of 19:17.
Abigail Dunn, Harrison: The sophomore led the Wildcats to a 1-5 sweep of the team title at Taylor, winning in 21:07.3.
Lucy Folger, Madeira: In her first race of the season, she took 10th place at Mason in 19:53.6.
Caroline Josshua, St. Ursula: She won at Little Miami with a time of 19:52.3.
Scout Shull, Wyoming: The freshman took ninth place at Taylor with a time of 22:53.8.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls cross-country runner of the week
Norah Barker, Notre Dame: She took 17th place at North Oldham with a time of 20:24.1.
Lila Dunlevy, Campbell County: She took 12th place at North Oldham’s “Rumble through the Jungle” in 20:39.8.
Lily Gambrel, East Central: She took fifth place at Brown County with a time of 20:21.5.
Keiryn Gipson, Holy Cross: The eighth-grader ran a personal best of 21:41.37 to take 10th place at Boyd County.
Emily Klim, Scott: She led the Eagles to a second-place team finish at Taylor with a sixth-place finish in 22:15.6.
Morgan Ripley, Highlands: In her first five-kilometer race, the eighth grader ran a time of 18:33.04.
Mandi Smith, Conner: The freshman crossed the line at Brookville in 23:35.6, just one-10th of a second off her personal best.
Field hockey player of the week
Kate Lanphear, Indian Hill: She had a hat trick against Summit Country Day and led the offensive’s momentum against Ballard.
Julia Tedesco, Summit Country Day: The senior forward got the team into attacking position many times in a defensive-heavy match, creating offensive corners and having a shot against Indian Hill. She also played a game in goal.
Audrey Westrich, Walnut Hills: The sophomore had strong passes and stick skills, helping the offense move the ball forward against Kettering Fairmont.
Ohio big-school football player of the week
Jaxon Barnett, Little Miami: He had an interception and returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown in a 42-7 win over Walnut Hills.
Carter Breedlove, Edgewood: He rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for a 19-yard TD in a 28-27 win over Fenwick. He was also second on the team with nine tackles (seven solo), forcing a fumble.
Jack Denier, Harrison: He returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown with three minutes left in the game to clinch a 22-13 win over Withrow which kept the Wildcats unbeaten at 4-0.
Max Doogan, Elder: He had five tackles including 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble in a 35-0 shutout of La Salle.
Sid Harbin, Loveland: He rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown, and converted two key two-point conversion runs in the second half, in a 36-35 win over Milford.
Jaden Hornbeck, Kings: He rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-14 win over West Clermont.
Aaron Jacobs, Colerain: He had seven catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime in a 34-28 win over Fairfield.
E.J. Jones, Middletown: He caught a 48-yard touchdown pass for the game-winning score in the third quarter in a 21-14 win over Oak Hills.
Josiiah Jones, Winton Woods: He tied a school record with four touchdown passes, completing 15-of-22 throws for 208 yards, in a 45-7 win over Turpin.
Xavier Ratica, Lakota West: The senior tight end helped block for a running game that had 344 yards in a 42-7 win over Hamilton.
Mason Tate, Moeller: He intercepted two passes in a 42-14 win over Christ Presbyterian (Tennessee).
Braxton Thurman, Lakota East: He had 10 catches for 121 yards, plus a 38-yard punt return and a touchdown in the Thunderhawks’ 24-20 over Mason.
Graham Uran, St. Xavier: He returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown for the eventual winning score in a 31-0 win over Westerville North.
Tysin Weaver, Anderson: The senior had six catches for 267 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-13 win over Lebanon.
Aiden Wehrum, Milford: In a 36-35 loss to Loveland, he threw for 353 yards and four touchdowns.
Ohio small-school football player of the week
Hudson Back, Waynesville: He rushed for a touchdown and led the defense with nine tackles, four solo, in a 31-0 shutout of Brookville.
Jomar Berg, Goshen: He caught five passes for 104 yards and a touchdown, and intercepted a pass on defense in a 35-7 win over Bethel-Tate that kept the Warriors unbeaten at 4-0.
Cooper Blackburn, Madeira: He threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns in a 55-6 win over Finneytown.
Chris Bradley, Jr., North College Hill: He threw for 128 yards and two touchdowns and had one of the team’s three interceptions in a 43-0 win over Meadowdale.
Isaiah Brunner, Clermont Northeastern: He rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown in a 49-16 win over Shroder.
Rondae Dailey, Gamble Montessori: He had seven tackles, a sack and two interceptions including one returned for a touchdown, in a 36-20 win over Clark Montessori to keep the Gators unbeaten at 4-0.
Jeremiah DesJardins, MVCA: Playing his first game at quarterback, he had 122 passing yards with one TD, 166 rushing yards with two rushing TDs, and one defense he had two tackles, one for loss, one sack and four assists in a 21-20 win over Western Hills.
Ethan Dixion, Northwest: He rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown, caught a 26-yard TD pass and led the team in tackles in a 26-0 shutout win over Carroll.
Camar Ellis, Talawanda: The senior had six catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Franklin.
Brady Gray, Clinton-Massie: He rushed for 277 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-18 win over Blanchester.
Tyler Johnson-Huff, Wyoming: The senior ran for three touchdowns, led the team in tackles, recovered a fumble and forced another in Wyoming’s 48-47 triple-overtime win over Indian Hill.
Josiah Puller, Wilmington: He rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 win over Ross.
Carson Quaimbao, Mariemont: He completed both passes he threw for 63 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 27 yards and had an interception on defense in a 17-7 win over Taylor.

Caleb Arrasmith, Beechwood: The senior caught two passes for 19 yards, landed a punt inside the 20-yard line and recovered two fumbles in a win over Simon Kenton.
Kevin Buanga, Cooper: He recorded five tackles and two interceptions as the Jaguars came back to beat Campbell County in overtime.
Cooper Burch, Walton-Verona: He ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns and made six tackles in a win over Boone County.
Tommy Busby, Bishop Brossart: He led the defense with nine tackles and a forced fumble, and he ran for 15 yards and a touchdown in a win over Bracken County.
Mac Cogswell, Covington Catholic: He caught two passes for 114 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown, and made five tackles in a win over Dixie Heights.
Andersen Deters, East Central: He made three tackles and grabbed two interceptions in a win over Franklin County.

Max Smith, Milford: He led Milford to a win over West Clermont, shooting a 35 at Friendly Meadows to be medalist on Sept. 10.
Carson White, Covington Catholic: He shot a 75 at the Kentucky Shootout, tying for fourth as CovCath won the tournament.

Taylor Zeller- Rylee Hanselman, Georgetown: The first doubles duo is 2-0 together after beating Blanchester 6-0, 6-1.
Molly Neville-Maeve O’Brien, Mariemont: The second doubles duo have gone 9-0 together following a 6-3, 6-3 win over Summit Country Day.
Caitlyn Meyer-Ines Botto, Sycamore: The first doubles unit for Sycamore has gone 4-0 in GMC conference matches.
Olivia West-Shelby Ellington, Western Brown: The second doubles unit has put up a 9-0 record, helping the Mustangs stay undefeated as a team.

Lexi Braddock, Anderson: She posted 12 digs, 11 assists and three aces in a win over Turpin.
Addy Dreher, Lakota East: She filled up the stat sheet in a rivalry win over Lakota West, contributing seven kills, four digs, two assists and two aces.
Sadie Ellis, Sycamore: She had 16 kills, seven digs and two blocks in a win over Lakota West.
Daniela Leon-Guevara, Lebanon: In a sweep of West Clermont, she had 10 digs, three kills, three assists and two aces.
Charley Moeddel, Seton: In league wins over Mount Notre Dame and Ursuline, the senior had 37 kills, 14 digs, nine blocks and five aces.

Jocelyn Clary, Ludlow: She had five aces, four digs and two assists in a two-set win over Holmes.
Madelyn Ellis, Lawrenceburg: The sophomore posted 22 kills, 13 digs, two blocks, an ace and an assist in a five-set win over South Ripley.
Ashlan Emerson, Walton-Verona: She contributed 21 digs, 13 kills, three aces, two assists and a block in a five-set win over Campbell County.
Rachel Lewandowski, Beechwood: The senior led the Tigers to a comeback, five-set win over Holy Cross with 13 kills, five digs and three blocks.
Charlotte Patton, Conner: In three wins, the junior totaled 55 kills and a .349 hitting percentage, 26 digs, seven aces, three blocks and three assists. She recorded her 1,00th career kill in a win over Lloyd.
Callie Ritter, Bishop Brossart: The senior had 13 kills, five blocks and four digs in a sweep of Campbell County, then was named to the 10th Region All “A” all-tournament team.
Makayla Roose, Notre Dame: The junior posted nine kills, nine blocks and two digs as the Pandas got back in the win column against Ursuline.
Carly Skirvin, Highlands: She led the Bluebirds to a four-set win over Simon Kenton with 35 assists, five kills and two aces.

Sammy Hardman, Princeton: The sophomore turned in four goals, six assists, two steals, and two kick outs drawn during a match against Oakwood.
Gus Leder, St. Xavier: The senior was named to the Ohio Cup all tournament team as he led the Bombers to a third-place finish.
Ciaran Skinner, Sycamore: The USA Water Polo Academic All-American was selected to the Ohio Cup All-Tournament Team after 21 goals, six assists, eight steals, and seven ejections drawn.

How to get Enquirer winners’ certificates from the 2025-2026 school year
For past winners: The Enquirer will no longer mail certificates to schools after getting feedback that families weren’t receiving them. Alex Harrison will make digital copies of all certificates available to families by 8 a.m. the Monday after the Friday win. Families will access the PDFs through this public Dropbox link. Once printed, families can email a photo to mlaughman@enquirer.com for our gallery.
