VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) – The University of South Dakota looks to bounce back this weekend, coming off a 38-24 loss to Boise State University on Saturday.
The Coyotes will turn its attention to #11 Youngstown State University, which is coming off of a loss as well, 27-20 to South Dakota State University this past weekend. South Dakota head coach Matt Vitzthum isn’t changing the way he and his squad prepares for the Penguins, no matter the difference in level of play.
“We have got to stick true to what we do week in and week out, right,” said Vitzthum in his weekly presser on Tuesday. “If you get into this mindset of this game means more, we’re going to prep a different way. Or this week, this opponent might not be good on paper so we’re not going to prepare. We’ve got to do the same thing every single week.”
The Yotes will go on the road to take on the Penguins, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+, and the Coyote Sports Network.
