Rivals recently updated their recruiting rankings which has caused some Notre Dame football commits to receive another star next to their name. The new rankings also moved some of the team rankings around:
- Notre Dame is #3 on 247
- Notre Dame is #2 on 247 Composite
- Notre Dame is #2 on Rivals Industry
- Notre Dame is #2 on ESPN
And again… there are two commitments for 2027 that are reclassified from 2028 in QB Champ Monds and DE Jackson Vaughn. Both were considered to be 5-Stars in their 2028 class, and still need a proper evaluation for the 2027 class (which will come later this fall). So, Notre Dame’s star level and team ranking should only go up.
