Thursday Morning Links

Morning, all!
The Rangers have acquired AAA reliever Ben People’s from the White Sox as bullpen depth for a potential playoff push.
Chris Paddack was mostly effective over four innings Monday but was designated for assignment yesterday. The Rangers are hoping to keep him in the fold.
Corey Seager exited yesterday’s game in the top of the first with lower back pain, though the organization is hoping that it’s not going to lead to another trip to the IL.
It’s been a rough season for Seager, with multiple IL stints and a not particularly sexy slash line.
The Rangers won anyway, making six straight wins and their longest winning streak since last September.
Jacob deGrom was locked in after giving up a two run homer in the first, with his fastball hitting 100 mph 5 times and retiring 15 straight batters.
