Summary: Naeer is in his second na-“year” with the Cards. (Sorry, Mrs. Jackson, whoo). But is looking to make a bit bigger splash than what we saw in 2025. The FIU transfer came to The Ville last year and got some reps in a few contests at right tackle, and supporting our special teams units on field goals and extra points.
Coming into 2026 the o-line is now “operating under new management” so Coach Dale Williams might be looking to promote a guy like Jackson to “assistant to the regional manager” if you catch my drift. Jackson has good size, and got through the spring relatively healthy, in fact his whole career he has been like an iron man, an impressive feat for a guy in the trenches (no whammies, no whammies).Playing left guard for over 700 snaps in 2023, right guard for over 600 snaps in 2024, and spending most of the year at right tackle in 2025…Jackson has become a Swiss army knife for the staff and will be a key piece of the rotation, even if he doesn’t find his name on the starters list week in and week out. Great to see him continue to develop and slide into the mix in the two deep.
