Stat shows importance of Bills' re-signing of Connor McGovern

The Buffalo Bills had one transaction come out of nowhere this offseason.

While center Connor McGovern was on the roster in 2025, the pending free agent appeared likely to depart Buffalo. At minimum, most figured he would test the free-agent market.

Instead, he signed a new contract with the Bills before free agency opened.

There are no hard statistics for offensive lineman like other players. Instead, we have to rely on analytics like Pro Football Focus and the outlet named McGovern the 10th best center in the NFL in 2025.

Beyond that, here is another stat that shows why the Bills coveted him.
