PSG look like they’re finally getting into gear for the new season.
Their summer so far has been all about selling players, but they’re not starting to be linked with incoming options too. One of last year’s big swings and misses was the move for Lucas Chevalier, but the Parisians haven’t been cowed – they’re lining up ready to try another big goalkeeper purchase.
World Cup star ready for move to top team; PSG enquired
That is, if you believe Gianluca Di Marzio. He’s today claimed the Parisians have joined Juventus and “several Premier League clubs” in asking for the details of the deal it would take to sign Zion Suzuki from Parma.
After looking good at the World Cup with Japan, the American born 23 year old is looking ready to step up to a top team, and PSG are keen to find out how much it would take to offer him that chance.
They are still looking to loan or sell Chevalier, but they won’t let that issue block them from getting the man they want if they’re convinced Suzuki is the upgrade they need.
In other news…
Winger transfer mania has taken over – as well as Yan Diomande, there’s lots of news about Bradley Barcola being on the move too.
The big news yesterday came from Fabrizio Romano, who claimed that PSG have joined the chase for Rodri from Man City.
