PFL Charlotte video: UFC vet Trey Waters stops Trukon Carson in wild car crash
Trey Waters absolutely killed it in his first fight outside the UFC.
The former UFC welterweight had a successful PFL debut, putting away Trukon Carson in a first-round TKO stoppage at 4:37. The two opened up the PFL Charlotte card, which took place Friday at Bojangles Coliseum in North Carolina.
From the very first second, Waters (10-2) and Carson (6-2) threw haymakers in a wild back-and-forth that had both fighters hurt in different parts of the round. Waters did get the better of the exchanges, dropping Carson a total of three times, busting him open before getting the stoppage win by ground-and-pound.
