NFL top 100: Seattle Seahawks LB Ernest Jones is No. 97

The “NFL Top 100 Players” for 2026, a yearly NFL offseason tradition, kicked off this week. So far, no Arizona Cardinals have been revealed. However, player No. 97 is a Cardinals opponent.

Coming in at No. 97 is Seattle Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones.

Jones was a second-team All-Pro in 2025. In 15 games for the world champions, he had 126 total tackles, half a sack, five interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and seven pass breakups.

In 2025, he was a menace to the Cardinals. He was out one game against them, but in the Seahawks’ 23-20 win in Week 4, he had his half sack and one interception to go with eight tackles.

He was described as “physical, good footwork, sideline to sideline, making plays in the pass game.”

Vikings running back Aaron Jones said that Jones “has a knack for making plays.”

Cardinals tight end Trey McBride said, “You have to be on top of and know where he’s at at all times. He’s a very good football player who’s an asset for their run game, and he knows how to take those windows away from the quarterback.”

The Cardinals will face the Seahawks in Week 2 and again in Week 9.
