The New York Jets are on the road to take on the Chicago Bears in the Jets’ fourth game of the 2026 season. The Jets will be looking to get back in the win column after losing their last two games in heartbreaking fashion.

The last time these two teams met the Jets dominated in a 31 – 10 victory in 2022, but the Bears have gotten the better of the Jets by a 9 – 4 margin over the years, including five straight Bears wins prior to the most recent Jets victory.

Let’s make a few predictions for the game on Sunday.

  1. The Jets run defense struggles against a high-powered Bears ground attack. The Bears grind out 140+ yards on the ground.
  2. The Jets defense welcomes back Minkah Fitzpatrick by securing their first interception since the 2024 season.
  3. The Jets pass defense holds the Bears passing attack to less than 200 passing yards.
  4. Braelon Allen rumbles for 90+ yards from scrimmage.
  5. The Jets squeak out a tight 20 – 17 victory aided by the Jets winning the turnover battle.
