NFL insider hints at big debut season for WR DJ Moore with the Bills

The Buffalo Bills have high expectations for DJ Moore and the hope is that he will hit the ground running during the 2026 NFL season.

The wide receiver landed in Buffalo via trade with the Chicago Bears this offseason. However, because of an earlier stop in Moore’s NFL career, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer has believes in the playmaker in 2026 as well.

The 29-year-old began his career with the Carolina Panthers. He was a first-round pick and played there from 2018 to 2022. In that span, he worked with someone by the name of Joe Brady.

Brady, now Buffalo’s head coach, was Moore’s offensive coordinator in 2020 and 2021. Those seasons saw Moore surpass 1,000 yards and they give Breer confidence that the wideout will thrive working with Brady once again in Buffalo.

SI’s breakdown on Moore and the Bills can be found below:

Speaking of new coaches, the Bills’s shift in philosophy comes on the head-coaching side, since new boss Joe Brady was promoted from the offensive coordinator spot. So veteran additions such as Bradley Chubb, C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Geno Stone, and draft picks like DE T.J. Parker are headed into a critical summer. Maybe even more so, I think, than DJ Moore, just in that we already have an idea of what Moore will look like in Brady’s offense (they were together in Carolina).
