Mississippi State football, Jeff Lebby land commitment from 4-star Jaden Bayonne

Mississippi State football picked up a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Jaden Bayonne on July 1.

Bayonne (6-foot-4, 290 pounds) plays at Alexandria High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. He’s ranked No. 13 in Louisiana for the class of 2027, according to 247Sports Composite. He is also the No. 45-ranked defensive lineman.

Bayonne picked Mississippi State over finalists Kentucky, Syracuse, TCU and Oklahoma State. He had 37 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 2025.

He is the third 2027 four-star to commit to Mississippi State, along with running backs Yoshawn Hudson and Christian Alexander and is the Bulldogs’ 16th commit for 2027 and their first defensive lineman. As of June 30, Mississippi State’s 2027 class ranks No. 53 in the nation and No. 15 in the SEC.
