Look: Aaron Donald spotted training at Rams facility, fueling comeback rumors

Aaron Donald works out seemingly every day, even in retirement. But there was something different about Friday’s workout.

That’s because he moved his training session to the Los Angeles Rams’ facility in Woodland Hills. According to TMZ, Donald was spotted working out on the practice field at the Rams’ headquarters, spending about an hour going through drills “until he was clearly gassed.”

An eyewitness tells us the 35-year-old spent about an hour on the field doing ladder drills, medicine ball throws, and agility work, pushing himself to the limit until he was clearly gassed.

Video of Donald at the facility was captured from afar, showing him and two others walking with workout gear, including medicine balls. TMZ’s Michael Babcock obtained the footage below.

Donald has said he’s thinking about coming out of retirement, remaining open to the idea of teaming up with Myles Garrett for one more run at a Super Bowl with the Rams. The last time he spoke about it, he said he was “flirting” with the possibility of a return, but nothing has been decided yet.

Recently, Donald gave Steelers safety Jaquan Brisker a pass-rush lesson, so he’s at least somewhat in football mode still. This workout at the Rams’ facility will only add fuel to the fire.

Training camp starts in a couple of weeks and while it’s possible Donald could return mid-season, Sean McVay and others are sure to be asked about his plans during their first press conference of camp.
