It appears that Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier might get another chance to settle their beef. This time around, it would be on the wrestling mat.

In case you forgot, Jones and Cormier are arguably the two biggest rivals in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA). Outside of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s beef with Conor McGregor, no two fighters hated each other more than “Bones” and “DC.” They may have made temporary mends in the past, but it’s a rivalry that will never truly die.

Their bad blood has been boiling once again since Jones and Cormier accepted roles to coach opposite one another on ALF Reality, which is Russia’s version of The Ultimate Fighter. Jones and Cormier have once again been thrown into competition and that’s always going to lead to turmoil. In fact, the two nearly brawled poolside back in March.

While there have been talks about a potential wrestling match between Jones and Cormier in the past nothing has come to fruition (even though Jones was ready to compete during filming). That could all change now that ALF Global CEO, Alfredo Auditore, is getting involved and dedicating his time to trying to book the wrestling supermatch.

In fact, Auditore is claiming that both Jones and Cormier are nearly locked in.

“We’ve made a wrestling match: Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier in our PWL (Professional Wrestling League),” said Auditore during a recent Instagram Story. “It’s almost confirmed from both sides. Let’s do it!

“In the works. Negotiating,” he added in another post.

Cormier, on the other hand, is claiming that Jones is refusing to accept the offer. Instead, “DC” says Jones is angling for a submission only grappling match. We’ll have to wait and see how the chips falls, but at least the money being offered is good enough. See it below:

What do you think, fight fans? Will we actually get to see a wrestling match between Jones and “DC” or is all of this just wishful thinking?

Let’s discuss!
