Bijan gets Paid! Former Longhorn now highest paid RB in NFL History

Former Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson and the Falcons have agreed to a three-year extension worth $66.75 million with a max value of $75 million. The deal makes Robinson the highest-paid running back in NFL history, surpassing the $20.6 million-per-year mark set by Eagles back Saquon Barkley.
Selected with the No. 8 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Bijan became an instant star in the NFL. Robinson hasn’t missed a game so far in his young NFL Career began in 2023 season, playing in all 51 games.
The former Texas Longhorns star has been unfazed by the heavy workload, logging at least 365 touches in two consecutive seasons. The 24-year-old has 1,003 touches, 5,648 total yards and 34 touchdowns in three seasons.
At Texas, the Arizona native became one of the program’s best running backs of all time, which is saying something considering a long history of great backs that include Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams and Jamal Charles. Robinson rushed played in 31 games on the Forty Acres, with 3,410 yards on 539 carries, 805 yards receiving with 60 receptions and 86 total touchdowns.
