Iowa State soccer announces 2026 schedule

Iowa State soccer’s fall 2026 slate was announced on Monday. The Cyclones will have 11 home matches and 19 total regular season contests.
Head coach Matt Fannon, in his seventh year at the helm of Iowa State, will have his squad open the season with an exhibition against Minnesota on Aug. 5.
The regular season starts with a road match at Omaha on Aug. 12, followed by the home opener against Kansas City on Aug. 16.
On Aug. 20, the Cyclones head south on Interstate 35 to face Drake. Following the matchup with the Bulldogs, Iowa State has four straight home matches: Aug. 23 versus Creighton, Aug. 27 versus Iowa, Aug. 30 versus UNI and Sept. 3 versus Missouri State.
Iowa State will travel to Baltimore to face the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds for the first time in school history on Sept. 10.
Big 12 play opens Sept. 17 with a home match against Colorado. A road match at Houston follows on Sept. 24. A pair of home conference matches versus West Virginia (Sept. 27) and Utah (Oct. 1).
A trio of road conference games are next on the slate for the Cyclones, with Arizona State (Oct. 8), Arizona (Oct. 11) and Oct. 16 (Kansas).
A pair of home Halloween week matches against BYU (Oct. 26) and Oklahoma State (Oct. 29) are the final two chances to see Iowa State’s 2026 squad in Ames for the fall semester.
The final match of the regular season is Nov. 5 at UCF.
