Hornets forward raves about team chemistry during NBA offseason

After falling one win short of the playoffs last season, the Charlotte Hornets have made a conscious effort to improve all summer. Throughout the offseason period, many Hornets players have been working out with each other, building chemistry and supporting one another at community events.

As the 2026-27 season nears, power forward Grant Williams spoke about Charlotte’s dedication and hard work this summer, saying, “We’ve had probably over 12 guys in the gym, so the group has been very locked in, myself included.”

“We want to make sure we have a great group of guys committed to the right things, and this group is very motivated to be that way. We all get along very well.”

This is great news for Hornets fans, as Charlotte supporters are eager to see their team breakthrough after their Play-In Tournament loss to the Orlando Magic. As for Williams, he’ll look to put forth a healthy 2026-27 campaign after playing in just 16 games during the 2024-25 season and 36 games in the 2025-26 season.
