Get-in price for U.S. World Cup game at Lumen Field is $1,878

Later today, the Field formerly known as Lumen will be a-rockin’. Don’t go a-knockin.

Unless you have nearly $2,000.

Via Sports Business Journal, the get-in price for Friday’s match between the U.S. and Australia is currently $1,878. That number is down 15 percent over the last three days, but it’s 45-percent increase over a week ago.

The U.S. team beat Paraguay last Friday at not-SoFi Stadium in L.A., 4-1. The victory sparked optimism that the Americans should be able to easily advance from group play and qualify for the knockout round — and possibly be very competitive when the single-elimination phase commences.

Friday’s match begins at 3:00 p.m. ET. Fox as the English-language broadcast. The Spanish version will be televised by Telemundo and Peacock.

Last week’s game attracted more than 25 million viewers, an all-time record audience for any soccer contest on American TV.

Lumen Field is one of 11 NFL stadiums being used for World Cup matches. The grass pitch will be long gone by the time the Seahawks host the Patriots to open the 2026 NFL regular season on September 9.
