Fantasy Football: 49ers' injuries piling up and more from the latest episode of Yahoo Fantasy Forecast

NFL training camps are underway and soon we’ll be into fantasy football draft season. We’ve already had plenty of impactful news coming out of camp, most notably on the injury front with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Niners have already lost WR Ricky Pearsall to season-ending knee surgery while TE George Kittle remains sidelined and on the PUP list. As a result, San Francisco brought back veteran WR Deebo Samuel Sr. to add some depth behind newly-signed Mike Evans and rookie De’Zhaun Stribling. Those three should hold down the fort until Kittle is 100%.

But this has been the theme for the 49ers — a failure to stay healthy on offense. Explosive plays were an issue last season and now Pearsall is out. Most of their core offensive skill players are over 30 years old. Evans is battling a quad strain, while Stribling is dealing with hamstring tightness. All of this has the analysts questioning QB Brock Purdy as a proactive late-round pick.
Below we’ll go over all the relevant clips from the latest Yahoo Fantasy Forecast with analysts Matt Harmon and Scott Pianowski.
