Examining the Falcons 90-man roster ahead of training camp

The Atlanta Falcons made a handful of roster moves following their mandatory minicamp last week in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The team cut undrafted rookie defensive lineman CJ Nunnally, wide receiver Casey Washington and defensive tackle Elijah Garcia while adding four players.

The Falcons signed wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell, edge Keshawn Banks and punter Matthew Hayball to their 90-man roster. Wells, Maxwell and Banks all recently played in the UFL and will look to make the jump back to the NFL when training camp kicks off in July.

Hayball is a former undrafted free agent who spent the 2025 season with the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons have designated the Australian-born Hayball as their international player, meaning he won’t count against the team’s 90-man roster this season.

The players are off for roughly a month before training camp begins. Rookies will report on July 24, with veterans arriving on July 28.
