Ex-Ball State receiver had one word for facing Ohio State, ‘Pray’

A former Ball State football player is most likely relieved he does not have to face Ohio State in the 2026 season.
On a Twitch stream from Ball State student Carter Brimer in December, former Ball State wide receiver Qian Magwood discussed the upcoming game for the Cardinals to kick off the 2026 season: at Ohio Stadium against the Buckeyes.
“We play Ohio State next year,” Brimer said to Magwood. “What’s up?”
Magwood replied: “Pray.”
On BetMGM as July 23, Ohio State is a 50.5-point favorite to beat Ball State on Sept. 5.
“You better pray, because let’s think: Ohio State got the same team. Not just Jeremiah Smith, they’re going to have everybody,” Magwood said.
