Duke basketball‘s Dec. 21 matchup against defending national champion Michigan in Miami has reportedly been called off.
CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander first reported the news on July 24. The game was originally supposed to be played in New York City’s Madison Square Garden but was later reportedly moved to Miami’s LoanDepot Park.
Instead, Duke will face Texas Tech at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 21. The game will be broadcast on Prime Video as part of Duke‘s partnership with Amazon.
It will be a rematch of the 2025-26 contest between the two programs on Dec. 20, where the Red Raiders stormed back from a double-digit lead to hand Duke its first loss of the season, 82-81. Duke leads the all-time series against Texas Tech 2-1.
