Dodgers Lineup Unchanged After Blowout Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers kept the same lineup for their second matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday.
It’s understandable why the Dodgers would do this, as they comfortably won their first matchup against the Pirates on Tuesday, 12-3. LA scored 10 runs in the seventh to put the game out of reach and take a lead in the three-game road series.

Shohei Ohtani is making his 11th start of the season for the Dodgers, and will look to strengthen his big for the Cy Young with another strong performance. He has been among the best pitchers in MLB this season, posting a 0.74 ERA with 67 strikeouts through 61 innings pitched.
He last appeared against the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 3, where he threw six innings of shutout baseball. He only allowed two hits and one walk in that outing.

Shohei Ohtani remains in the lineup for his bump day, and will fulfill his two-way duties for the second game of the series against the Pirates. Center fielder Andy Pages will follow him in the lineup, and first baseman Freddie Freeman will bat third after his historic night Tuesday.
Shortstop Mookie Betts remains in the cleanup spot, and Max Muncy will play third and bat behind him. Right fielder Kyle Tucker bats sixth, and fellow corner outfielder Ryan Ward will step up after him. Dalton Rushing remains in the lineup and second baseman Alex Freeland will bat ninth.
