The Los Angeles Dodgers have broken their fan-attendance record at Dodger Stadium, selling 4,034,219 tickets for the 2025-2026 season, the team announced on Thursday.

Last season, the Dodgers drew 4,012,470 fans, the previous record. Now, the Dodgers have two straight seasons with four million fans in attendance.
This season, 40 games have drawn 50,000 or more Dodger fans, along with 14 sellouts. The Dodgers have a streak of 215 consecutive games with at least 40,000 fans, their longest in franchise history.
The success has also translated to the road.
“With three games to play, the Dodgers also lead Major League Baseball in road attendance with 2,820,413, averaging 36,159 at opposing ballparks in 2026,” the team’s press release read.
Why the Dodgers have great attendance
Manager Dave Roberts was asked about the Dodgers’ success and why they generate such high attendance numbers.
“The amazing thing is that it’s not just localized; clearly, it’s not just domestic, it’s international,” Roberts said.
“Everyone looks different in Dodger Stadium. It’s spectacular. And our players certainly feed off of it.
“It’s not taken for granted. I think opponents feel it, certainly in the later innings, when they see the third deck full, and the speakers are blaring. So it’s pretty special.”
Additionally, Roberts credited the ownership for investing in stars.
“If you build it, they will come. And we’ve always drawn well, but ownership, front office, you’re getting stars. Los Angeles loves stars, and they want to see superstars,” Roberts added.
“And we have a lot of superstars, which draws people, and I think our product is very consistent; it’s very relatable.
“Like I said, this is one of the better places in baseball to play a big league ball game.”
With players like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, two superstars, along with so many American stars as well, like Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts, the Dodgers’ case is undeniable.
While it is hard to always top yourselves, the Dodgers will certainly be hoping that the arrow continues pointing up.
