The Los Angeles Dodgers set their lineup as they aim for their first series win of August against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday.
The Dodgers won the first game of the series on Monday, as Tarik Skubal made his first first start in front of the home fans as a Dodger and Max Muncy drove in three runs on his bobblehead night.
LA had lost eight of their previous nine games prior to Monday’s win, and will look to carry the momentum from their win forward throughout the remainder of the season.
Who is Pitching for the Dodgers?
The Dodgers are getting another important player back from the injured list, as Blake Snell will make his return for the second game of the series.
Snell has only made one appearance this season, coming all the way back in May before he landed back on the injured list with loose bodies in his elbow. In his only start, Snell allowed five runs through three innings pitched.
He has the potential to make a huge difference, though, as he had a 2.35 ERA through 11 regular season starts for the Dodgers last season.
Who is in the Dodgers’ Lineup?
As usual, Shohei Ohtani will be the Dodgers’ designated hitter while leading off the order, with first baseman Freddie Freeman moving up to the No. 2 spot. Center fielder Andy Pages makes a rare appearance in the No. 3 hole, followed by a right fielder Kyle Tucker in the cleanup spot. Muncy moves up to the No. 5 spot and remains at third base, followed by shortstop Mookie Betts.
Tommy Edman moves over to second base and bats seventh, while Alex Call re-enters the lineup and bats eighth. Catcher Ben Rortvedt replaces Hunter Feduccia and bats at the bottom of the lineup.

Who is Pitching for the Royals?
The Royals have starter Michael Wacha on the mound for Tuesday’s game, and the Dodgers will look to take advantage of the right-hander with a lefty-heavy lineup. Wacha has made 23 starts for the Royals on the year, posting. 3.44 ERA with 112 strikeouts through 144 innings pitched.
The right-hander’s ERA leads starters on his team, and he has accrued more bWAR then the rest of the starters the Royals have used this year combined.
First pitch for the second game of the series comes at 7:10 p.m. PT.
