It tends to take a lot for star receivers to get along with each other as they compete for attention from their quarterback. That’s not the case for George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb, according to Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott.
Pickens and Lamb are preparing for their second season together on the Cowboys. They headlined an attack that shined as one of the best receiver duos in the NFL, torching opponents with their explosive playmaking against defenses.
Both players dominated Prescott’s attention throughout the 2025 season. While that looks to be the same going into this season, Prescott explained to media how Pickens and Lamb don’t have any drama with each other as they seek to help the team win big games together.

“Yeah, that there’s no egos. Both of those guys are selfless. They want to see each other succeed. They’re probably each other’s biggest cheerleaders to that extent. So yeah, obviously they’re brothers and that relationship extends. Yeah, that one’s special, but it extends throughout the receiver room. It extends to the offensive line. We’ve got a really unique group in just how close we are and how much we care for each other. And I think their relationship is the epitome of that,” Prescott said, per reporter Clarence Hill Jr.
What lies ahead for George Pickens, Cowboys this season
George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb look forward to flourishing on offense once again, helping the Cowboys be in the mix for playoff contention.
Pickens enjoyed his best campaign to date in Year 4. He caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns, showing off his true ceiling as a star receiver in an active offense.
