Clemson picks up crystal ball for Raymond Hudson after big official visit

RJ Hudson, the 2027 edge rusher out of Varina High School in Richmond, Virginia, picked up a Clemson crystal ball prediction after visiting campus, giving the Tigers some movement in a recruitment that had looked like a Maryland battle for most of the way.
Hudson is listed at 6’22 215 by 247Sports. He is rated as a three-star prospect with an 88 grade, while the 247Sports Composite has him as the No. 627 player nationally, the No. 53 edge rusher and the No. 15 player in Virginia.
Clemson is now listed with 66.7% of the expert average in his Crystal Ball section, while Maryland sits at 33.3%. Hudson also took his Clemson official visit on June 12th, which makes the timing of the crystal ball pretty hard to ignore.

This still is not a done deal. Maryland remains warm on Hudson, and he visited the Terrapins on May 29. Cincinnati, Penn State, and Syracuse are also listed among the schools involved, though Clemson and Maryland look like the two names with the most heat right now.
